How to Estimate Screen Complexity?

While estimating screen design complexity and effort, we should consider the following factors:

  1. Design Elements: The number and complexity of visual elements such as buttons, forms, images, and custom components. The more design elements, the more will be complexity.
  2. Responsiveness: The need for the design to be responsive across different devices and screen sizes increases complexity.
  3. Interactivity: Dynamic elements like modals, dropdowns, tooltips, etc., that require additional JavaScript or Angular logic.
  4. Custom Graphics: The use of custom icons, illustrations, or animations.
  5. Branding: Adherence to specific branding guidelines can add complexity.
  6. Content: The amount and type of content (text, images, videos) that needs to be displayed and formatted.
  7. User Experience (UX): Ensuring a seamless flow and intuitive interaction requires careful planning.
  8. Accessibility: Designing for accessibility standards can add layers of complexity.
  9. Integration with Backend: The complexity of integrating with APIs or backend systems.
  10. State Management: Handling the state of the application, especially if the login involves complex state changes.
